In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting freight and cargo across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will be vital in maintaining our commitment to excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team dedicated to efficient logistics operations and outstanding customer service. Duties Operate tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, following all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely pickups and deliveries across over-the-road (OTR) routes Load and unload freight safely, utilizing manual handling techniques and proper equipment to manage logistics cargo handling Transport hazardous materials (hazmat) and dangerous goods in compliance with hazardous materials regulations Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and records of freight movement in accordance with FMCSA regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or issues encountered during transit Qualifications Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving and route driving Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with endorsements for hazmat, tanker, or other specialized loads preferred Demonstrated ability to operate manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently Knowledge of truck loading and unloading procedures for freight including refrigerated cargo, flatbed loads, or hazardous goods Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and route planning for over-the-road routes Understanding of FMCSA regulations, hazard materials regulations, DOT compliance, and safety protocols for truck driving Physical ability to handle manual loading/unloading tasks and manage logistics cargo handling effectively Strong commitment to safety standards and adherence to all trucking regulations Join us as a Driver and become an essential part of our logistics network!
