Job Description

Clearline Mobility provides door to door transportation for adults with developmental disabilities in Humboldt County. We work to have our drivers run the same route with the same riders every day, and our riders count on seeing the same faces. We are hiring full time drivers for company vehicles. No personal vehicle is required and no CDL is required: you drive our minivans and lift-equipped vans, we handle fuel, insurance, and maintenance, and we train you on the vehicle and the route.
What you will do:
Drive a company minivan or lift-equipped van on a fixed daily route, same riders, same times Help riders board safely, secure wheelchairs and mobility devices (we train you), and deliver every rider to a responsible adult or program staff Follow the route sheet, call dispatch about anything unusual, and keep rider information confidential Take midday assignments between route runs: vehicle care, courier runs, and support work for our partner companies What we are looking for: Patient, dependable, and kind; our riders notice who their driver is, and consistency is the job Clean, careful driving habits Experience in caregiving, home care, delivery driving, or passenger transport is a plus, not required Able to meet our contract driver standards, verified after a conditional offer (age 21 or older, valid California license, background clearance, and a driving record review) Pay is $20 to $25 per hour depending on experience, 8 hour days, company vehicle provided.
