Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to deliver freight efficiently and on time. Your expertise in driving different vehicle configurations, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, will ensure our cargo reaches its destination securely and intact. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be a vital part of our logistics operations, supporting timely deliveries across diverse routes while maintaining the highest safety standards. Duties Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary Drive assigned routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each trip Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delays, or issues during transit Assist with securing cargo on different truck configurations to prevent damage during transport Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle types operated Proven experience in truck driving, including delivery driver roles with route driving responsibilities Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles and specialized equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks is preferred Knowledge of freight handling procedures for various cargo types including refrigerated goods and tanker loads Ability to load & unload freight safely and efficiently using proper techniques and equipment Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving and cargo securement Excellent navigation skills with the ability to plan efficient routes for timely deliveries Join our team if you're passionate about driving, committed to safety, and eager to contribute your expertise in freight transportation!
