CDL CLASS A DRIVERS
Since 1973 Newco remains family owned and operated and has the longest history of serving independently owned pet business in our area with the highest quality pet food. We offer rewarding work, helping our customers provide quality pet food to the consumer, utilizing our extensive network of distribution to achieve success. Requirements Current Class A CDL Must be 21 years of age Must have 2 years of verifiable tractor/trailer experience or 1 year of driving experience and a certificate from an accredited CDL School Ability to meet all DOT requirements Able to lift up to 50lbs., and break down as needed Flexible with times, and equipment Strong communication skills, must read and speak English Great customer service Able to operate warehouse equipment to include electric pallet jack, hand truck, etc. Knowledge of all DOT compliance to include ELD, hours of service… etc. Able to use smart phones, and other technology Must have reliable transportation to and from work Must be able to pass drug screen and criminal background check post-employment offer
Shift and Schedule:
Full-time/ OT paid Able to work Monday through Friday, and some weekends with early morning start times 2am-6am Local Routes Deliver with electric pallet jack, hand truck system to the customer Regional Routes Most routes are local, driver will be home every night Monday through Saturday with early start times
