We're a small operation and value good communication, dependability, and drivers who take pride in their work. You'll be responsible for safely hauling freight, keeping up with logs, taking care of the truck, and staying in contact with dispatch.

Responsibilities Operate tractor-trailers, dry vans. Plan routes using GPS navigation systems to optimize delivery times and fuel efficiency. Ensuring proper handling of logistics cargo in compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations. Secure cargo properly during transit, especially hazardous materials or dangerous goods, following hazardous materials regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, inspections, and deliveries in accordance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or safety concerns. Skills Proven experience driving commercial trucks, including tractor-trailers. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools for route planning and real-time adjustments. Strong understanding of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, and hazardous materials regulations for safe transportation of dangerous goods. Skilled in route driving across long distances with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer satisfaction. Excellent manual handling skills for securing cargo and managing freight in various conditions.
