We are committed to providing safe, fast, and professional towing services to motorists when they need help most. We are currently seeking dependable and hardworking Tow Truck Drivers to join our growing team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy driving, working independently, operating towing equipment, and helping customers in a fast-paced environment. Position Summary As a Tow Truck Driver with Angelo's Towing, you will respond to dispatched towing calls involving disabled vehicles, breakdowns, accidents, vehicle transports, and other towing-related services. You will be responsible for safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading vehicles while protecting customer property and company equipment. Drivers will regularly communicate with customers, dispatchers, law enforcement officers, repair facilities, dealerships, and AAA representatives. You will often assist customers during stressful situations, making professionalism, patience, and strong communication skills essential to success in this role. At Angelo's Towing, we believe we can teach towing procedures and equipment operation, but we cannot teach attitude. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, hardworking, safety-minded, and committed to providing professional service on every call. Responsibilities Respond promptly to dispatched AAA towing calls Safely operate flatbed, wheel-lift, and other assigned towing equipment Load, secure, transport, and unload vehicles safely Tow disabled, damaged, and accident-involved vehicles Perform accident recovery and vehicle removal when assigned Inspect vehicles before towing and document any existing damage Properly use winches, chains, straps, dollies, wheel-lifts, and related towing equipment Maintain accurate service documentation using company software and mobile devices Communicate professionally with customers, dispatchers, law enforcement, repair facilities, dealerships, and AAA representatives Maintain a clean and professional tow truck Complete daily inspections of assigned trucks and towing equipment Report mechanical or equipment issues promptly Follow all safety procedures, traffic laws, towing regulations, and company policies Protect customer vehicles and company equipment from damage Maintain a clean, professional appearance and represent Angelo's Towing and AAA positively Work efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer satisfaction Qualifications Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Ability to safely operate a tow truck and towing equipment Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to remain calm and professional during accidents, breakdowns, and stressful situations Ability to work outdoors in various weather and traffic conditions Ability to lift, move, and operate towing chains, straps, dollies, winches, and related equipment Previous towing, automotive, transportation, equipment operation, delivery, or commercial driving experience is preferred Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Strong attention to detail and vehicle safety Dependable attendance and availability Positive attitude and strong work ethic Previous towing experience is preferred but not required. Paid training may be provided to qualified candidates with a strong driving record, mechanical ability, and willingness to learn.
