One weekly run. Two days off. Studio 0172, an Amazon Freight Partner, is hiring experienced Class A CDL drivers for our Solo5 regional operation . This position is designed for drivers who prefer a consistent weekly schedule and don't want to commute back and forth to work every day. You come to our yard once at the beginning of your workweek , take your assigned truck on a 5-day regional run, return to the yard at the end of the run, and then have 2 days off .

You'll leave our East Bay yard at the beginning of your scheduled run, transport Amazon freight between established facilities, complete required DOT rest periods during the trip, and return to our yard at the end of the 5-day run. This is 100% no-touch freight . Your focus is on operating safely, completing inspections, following Hours-of-Service requirements, communicating with dispatch, and getting freight where it needs to be safely and on time. Compensation $25.00 per hour Full-time W-2 position This Solo5 position does not include an overtime premium. However, you are eligible for Safety and Performance bonuses weekly Paid training Benefits package including health, dental and vision insurance, PTO and 401(k) What we're looking for Valid Class A CDL in good standing 21+ years old Recent Class A tractor-trailer experience Amazon Freight Partner / Amazon Relay experience strongly preferred Experience with 53-ft trailers preferred Safe driving record Comfortable being on the road for a 5-day regional run Able to comply with DOT Hours-of-Service requirements Pass required DOT physical, drug screening, background check and MVR review Able to use smartphone-based GPS, dispatch and logging applications Able to speak, read and write English as required by FMCSA regulations Legally authorized to work in the United States A good fit for drivers who want consistency This position may be a particularly good fit if you're tired of changing schedules, sharing trucks, or commuting to the terminal several times every week.
