The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of trucks and trailers. Duties Operate a variety of trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit. Skills Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles. Experience with refrigerated trailers. Strong background in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Familiarity with delivery driver experience and route driving. Knowledge of safety regulations related to truck driving. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
