North Highlands, CA Job Details $28 - $34 an hour 15 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Writing skills Basic math CDL A High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Under the supervision of the Terminal or Branch Manager, the Fuel Driver is responsible for the safe loading and delivery of fuel to customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Completes a daily vehicle inspection report electronically as per DOT Regulations. Maintains accurate driving logs and records in compliance with DOT regulations. Completes procedures for the safe handling of bulk fuel products. Unloads tanker trucks in a safe manner. Processes all paperwork for receiving and delivering orders for bulk products. Loads bulk fuel onto delivery vehicles. Moves bulk product in a manner that protects its integrity. Accounts for inventory of bulk fuel products daily. Maintains cleanliness of truck & trailer to InterState Oil's standards. Maintains an assigned schedule. Follows all company safety and job procedures. Works well with other employees and shares workload appropriately. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Requires basic math, reading and writing skills. Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, customers, and co-workers. High School Diploma or GED required. Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Clean Driver's license/record.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Requires prolonged standing. Requires physical exertion to move and/or carry product hoses. Requires stooping, bending, and reaching. Must comply with dress code, including proper hygiene and appearance standards. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in a safe manner.
