A SECOND SHIFT
drivers for local work including port and rail work. Must have at least 2 years with CDL and driving experience. Drivers must have TWIC cards
Responsibilities:
  • Safely and efficiently operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and refrigerated trailers
  • Transport freight to various destinations in a timely manner
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Communicate with dispatch to receive instructions and updates on routes and schedules
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and compliance
Qualifications:
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) and driving experience of 2 years
  • Ability to safely operate different types of trucks and trailers
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo
  • No convictions for a "serious traffic violation" within the last three (3) years.
