We are a Southern California-based carrier with 16 years in business, founded and operated by a 25-year professional truck driver. We understand what drivers experience because our owner still understands the job from behind the wheel—not just from behind a desk. This is a full-time Western regional position hauling 53-foot dry-van freight. Our primary operation consists of dedicated and out-and-back freight between California and Nevada, with occasional California-Arizona and other Western regional assignments.
RUN HARD. GET PAID. HOME FOR THE WEEKEND. COMPENSATION
Projected annual compensation: $78,000-$94,000 Typical weekly gross: Approximately $1,550-$1,800+ $0.55 per mile on all authorized actual odometer miles Loaded and empty miles paid $20 per hour for qualifying non-driving time Designated local assignments receive applicable flat-rate pay protection Qualifying detention, breakdown, inspection and other compensable non-driving time paid according to company policy Fuel-efficiency incentive program $1000 new-hire bonus after successful completion of the 90-day introductory period Weekly direct-deposit payroll Projected compensation is based on anticipated mileage, local assignments, qualifying non-driving time, driver availability and current freight operations. Actual earnings vary according to miles, assignments, delays, freight volume, time off and individual availability. A typical higher-mileage week may include approximately 2,750 miles plus qualifying non-driving time. A mixed regional/local week may produce fewer miles while including local flat-rate assignments and hourly non-driving compensation.
HOME TIME AND SCHEDULE

MINIMUM DRIVER QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants must: Be at least 23 years of age Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license Have at least two years of verifiable Class A tractor-trailer experience Have qualifying experience operating a 53-foot dry van or comparable tractor-trailer equipment Have an acceptable motor vehicle record and safety history Meet Angus Transportation and insurance-company qualification standards Hold or obtain a valid DOT medical certification Be able to pass all required DOT and company qualification procedures Successfully complete a pre-employment controlled-substances test Have an acceptable FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse status Complete required employment and safety-history verification Successfully complete a company road test or accepted equivalent Be able to operate safely throughout California, Nevada, Arizona and other assigned Western states Reliably report for dispatch from the Southern California operating area Be committed to professional conduct, accurate logs, equipment care and strict safety compliance Preferred applicants will live in or near: Victorville Hesperia Apple Valley Adelanto Oak Hills Phelan Barstow Fontana Rialto Ontario Rancho Cucamonga San Bernardino Colton Bloomington Riverside Moreno Valley Redlands Surrounding High Desert and Inland Empire communities

Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections Accurately maintain electronic logs and supporting records Immediately report equipment defects, incidents and unsafe conditions Follow hours-of-service requirements Protect freight and maintain cargo integrity Operate defensively and professionally Maintain assigned tractors and trailers in a clean, presentable condition Comply with Angus Transportation's progressive safety-accountability program Follow all DOT, FMCSA, state and company safety requirements Serious safety violations, dishonesty, falsification, unauthorized passengers, prohibited drug or alcohol conduct, or deliberate disregard of company safety rules may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
