Primary Purpose:
Mixes and packages Company products, maintains inventory levels and assists in shipping and receiving products and materials in the warehouse. What you'll do: Provides for the efficient receiving, marking, and stocking of merchandise; ensures the maintenance and protection of warehouse stocks, supplies, and equipment. Ensures compliance with all state and Federal labeling and shipping laws and regulations on merchandise shipped from warehouse. Maintainslogs and check lists forwarehouse supply items and equipment. Directs the Company's fire and safety programs for all warehouse employees according to established policy and practice. Inspects and checks warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure that all equipment is in good operating condition. Recommends new methods and procedures in warehouse activities. Loads and off loads rail cars and tank trucks. Cleans and maintains warehouse and equipment Performs trailer washouts and product dilutions at load racks Fills drums/totes at customer locations Performs blending of multiple products (splash blending) Perform customer tank pump outs and material transfers Obtains samples and performs quality control lab tests as necessary Handles customer tank installation and maintenance to include purchasing of tanks, oversight of tank inventory, responding and scheduling work at customer sites. What you'll need: Ability to operate an industrial powered lift truck or forklift according to company procedures and governmental regulations Ability to use and maintain respiratory protection equipment Ability to learn proper methods for handling hazardous materials and wastes, with training Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite Ability to read, write, count, understand, and speak English CDL A or B desired
Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions:
Physical ability to lift and carry at least 50lb. net bags for short distances Physical ability to tilt back or break 800 lb. net drums onto a dolly Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Test negative on the company's drug tests Exposure to fumes, dirt, noise and hazardous chemicals on a daily basis. May require safety equipment and/or precautions Ability to work in all weather conditions Where you'll work: Both inside and outside work environment 525 Seaport Blvd, Redwood City, CA 94063
Pay & Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $57,900 - $72,240. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
