Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel consumption and route planning Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo details, and delivery documentation in compliance with FMCSA regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or route adjustments Experience Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record demonstrating safe driving habits Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on freight transportation across various vehicle types such as dry van. Familiarity with over-the-road (OTR) driving routes an delivery driving environments Knowledge of logistics cargo handling including load & unload procedures for freight. Understanding of DOT regulations regarding hours of service and safety. Prior experience of trucking at least 2 years.
