Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Compliance with all federal, state and company driving regulations. Interfacing with customers in a friendly professional manner delivering superior customer service. Verifying assigned delivery route for the day; obtaining the proper delivery tickets and load sheets along with any other resources to successfully complete deliveries. Locating assigned equipment in the yard; performing a vehicle pre-trip inspection and recording any deficiencies; checking load-in trailer for stability while transporting and accurately counting product. Locating empty equipment (bossy carts, green cases, IC racks); counting and securing equipment on pallets if warranted. Loading equipment on trailer for return to our locations; maintaining accurate records of transported equipment. Collecting, reviewing, and submitting accurate route settlement paperwork. Maintaining professional and appropriate dress, hygiene, and personal appearance. Completing preventive maintenance requirements; troubleshooting malfunctions; and maintaining safe vehicle conditions. Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset, and engaging in Producers Dairy Mission Statement to identify, value, prioritize, resource, and sustain improvement opportunities. Qualifications:
Minimum:
A high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must be able to read, write, and speak English. Ability to read, write, and speak in Spanish a plus. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. A minimum of two (2) years on the road driving experience. Valid Class A driver's license and a clean DMV record. Knowledge, comprehension, and compliance with DOT rules/regulations. Demonstrate good judgment and problem-solving skills as well as being an organized record keeper. Demonstrated organization and accuracy skills; self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple projects/tasks with competing deadlines. Must demonstrate the ability to solve problems, accept constructive feedback, and show flexibility should priorities and/or deadlines change. Scheduling and map reading experience.
Preferred:
Previous public relations/customer service experience. Previous experience with XATA, ADI, or any handheld device. Hourly:
$28.80 - $32.00 Drive Test and equipment competency will need to be preformed before offer of employment.
