Job Description

Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to navigate different routes while adhering to delivery schedules. Responsibilities Operate and drive trucks, including flatbed, gondolas, and refrigerated trailers, to transport goods to designated locations. Double Trailer Endorsment Follow all safety regulations and protocols while on the road and during loading/unloading processes. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including route details, cargo weight, and any incidents that occur during transit. Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure it is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Adhere to traffic laws and regulations while driving on various routes. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Proficiency in operating different types of trucks, including tractor-trailer combinations and flatbeds. Experience with route driving, ensuring timely deliveries while optimizing fuel efficiency. Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Knowledge of transporting various types of cargo, including refrigerated goods or hazardous materials (if applicable). Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the road. Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
