Job Description
Drivers are to maintain vehicles in good condition, and inspect them on a regular basis. Drivers are also responsible for taking residents to and from appointments, banks and other outings. Acts as an effective support for the Activity Department by assisting in the setup and execution of resident programs. Maintain a good driving record. Experience working with the elderly preferred. Able to communicate well with families, residents, receptionists and supervisors. Flexibility, patience, warmth and sensitivity regarding the needs of mature adults. Must demonstrate ability to listen, follow through with directions as given, and to work diligently without supervision. Must be flexible and dependable and have the ability to comply with a heavy transportation schedule.
