CDL Driver - Class A

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent driving skills, and the trucks. Duties Operate a tractor-trailer or other commercial vehicles to transport freight to designated locations. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual methods as required. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and cargo transported. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding transportation and safety. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Handle various types of freight, including tanker loads and refrigerated shipments, ensuring proper handling techniques are followed. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record. trucks and refrigerated trailers. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is a plus. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
