Driver

Overview We are seeking a reliable and motivated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and ensuring timely delivery to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to operate different types of vehicles, including vans and box trucks. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload cargo using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary. Ensure all deliveries are made on time while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport. Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Handle paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices and receipts. Assist in the training of new drivers as needed. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred. Experience as a delivery driver or courier is highly desirable. Familiarity with operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; certification may be required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo. Flexibility in work hours, including the possibility of overtime or weekend shifts as needed. A commitment to safety protocols and procedures while on the road.
