Position Title :
Shuttle Driver -
Mt Vernon Based Pay:
$32.00 - $35.00/hr. + full Benefits + new quarterly bonus will be applied.

Shift Schedule:
The shift would be Sunday night and Monday night 5pm-3:30am or until shuttle is completed. Tuesday off, work Wednesday night and Thursday night 5pm-3:30am or until shuttle is complete. 4 days a week. Avg 40-50 hours.
General Summary :
The purpose of the Shuttle Driver position is to haul empty trailers to the Modesto Distribution Center, unhook empty trailers, hook up loaded trailers, and then haul the trailers back to where the shift started.

Responsibilities:
Essential Job Functions :
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractor and trailer Haul empty trailers to the Modesto Distribution Center, unhook empty trailers, hook up loaded trailers, and then haul the trailers back to San Louis Obispo. Drivers must maintain safe operation of company vehicles on all public and private roadways and property Drivers will conduct themselves with professionalism as Class A CDL Drivers using safe driving techniques, defensive driving, and abiding by all of the DOT mandated regulations which may apply to their day to day work Other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Knowledge of transportation principles and methods for transporting goods by commercial vehicle Skilled in using time efficiently and attention to detail Ability to physically complete physical requirements of job Ability to drive commercial vehicles (semi-trucks and trailers up 53 feet, solo trucks, vans, etc.), use a hand truck, use a pallet jack, walk boards, stay bars, etc. Ability to work well with other employees to foster a respectful and professional work environment
