Job Description

Job Summary We are currently looking for experienced and dependable

OVERNIGHT CLASS A SHUTTLE

Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and demonstrate integrity and diligence in all interactions. In this role as a Class A Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries to our local restaurant clients. Please review the duties and qualifications listed below before applying. This position requires more than just "bumping the dock"

you will also be responsible for unloading, unpacking pallets, and delivering products to designated restaurants.

Schedule:

2pm-2am-Overnight Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday Off on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday Responsibilities

Loading and unloading products using appropriate equipment
Following designated routes for on-time deliveries
Adhering to traffic laws and regulations
Conducting routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
Reporting any accidents or mechanical issues promptly
Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
Effective communication with dispatchers and team members Qualifications
Valid Class A driver's license with a clean driving record for two years.
Proven 2 year's behind the wheel experience-Class A driving
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred
Ability to operate various types of vehicles including refrigerated trailers and manual transmission vehicles
Commercial driving experience is a must
Knowledge of pallet jack operation is desirable
Familiarity with tanker trucks, roll-off trucks, and loading/unloading procedures is beneficial
