Full-Time Inventory Receiver/Driver - South San Francisco

Job Description:

Draeger's Supermarkets, Inc in South San Francisco is seeking a full-time Warehouse (Inventory) Receiver and Driver immediately. This is a Non-Union position. This position requires driving (bobtail truck/box truck) to our three locations as well as receiving work in our warehouse. Valid driver license with clean record of minimum 3 years is required.

Reports to:

Kitchen Director and the Procurement Manager.

Pay:

$26.00 - $29.00 per hour.

Shift:

2:00 to 10:30 or 3:00 AM to 11:30 AM, Monday through Friday, subject to change depending on company needs.

Work Distribution:

60% driving (2-3 days per week) and 40% (1-2 days per week) receiving/inventory as assigned. Key Responsibilities (including but not limited to): Loading and unloading several deliveries per day to our local stores. Driving to 2 stores along the peninsula and to Danville to deliver products. Work with kitchen, store managers and Plant Superintendent to fulfill job duties to the best of your ability. FIFO - First In/First Out experience and knowledge. Maintain a clean vehicle and workspace. Must be able to drive a bobtail truck 2 - 3 days per week (no special license required). Receiving and unloading inbound products and ingredients 1-2 days per week. Storing, organizing and transfer material per requirements. Cycle counting and inventory control. Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks. Must be able to use RF scanner, tablets, printers for inventory control. Must be able to work in freezers and coolers (cold temperature environments).

Qualifications:

Must have clean driving record and valid CA driver license with a minimum of 3 years history. Able to work well with others under pressure. Able to work well with others to meet deadlines. Must be able to communicate, read and comprehend instructions in English. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Reliable, punctual, and committed to the success of our daily business. Able to lift, push and pull 50 pounds. Able to work a variety of shifts, generally very early morning and some evenings during the holiday season. Work shift starts at 5:00 am - 1:30 pm. Must be able to work overtime if requested, and on weekends depending on business needs. Flexible schedule required.
