In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks to transport freight efficiently and reliably across designated routes. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles, across short and long-haul routes. Drive specialized trailers such as refrigerated units Plan efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and freight delivery details in compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues promptly. Skills Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL license minimum 2 years but can make an exception for the right driver.
