Yard Stocker Simi Valley, CA | Full-time | M-F 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Job Summary August Roofing & Solar is hiring a Yard Stocker for our Simi Valley, CA yard. This full-time role keeps our materials, trailers, and job builds organized, so crews have exactly what they need, when they need it. You'll be hands-on every day, moving materials, sorting trailers, and staging jobs and huddles for the field teams. Join a Growing Team in Roofing & Solar! Our yard is the backbone of every job that goes out the door, and we're looking for a Yard Stocker who takes pride in keeping it running tight. What You'll Do As part of our yard team, you'll: Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe, tracking material and equipment locations across the property Sort incoming trailers, pulling good materials and restocking as needed Receive material deliveries and verify against purchase orders and pick tickets Stock and organize materials in designated yard and shop locations Restock materials pulled for daily builds Build and stage daily jobs and huddles, documenting with photos in Asana Submit a yard huddle any time materials are missing from a build Keep trailers in good working condition, including tarps, blocks, and job numbers Flag shortages, damaged materials, or discrepancies right away Assist with inventory counts Support forklift operations for moving materials What We're Looking For Prior experience in a warehouse, yard, or materials handling environment preferred Ability to lift and move construction materials up to 75 pounds Comfortable working outdoors on a physical, fast paced schedule Detail oriented with strong organizational habits Forklift experience or certification a plus Driver's license not required but a plus Why Work With Us?
