Job Description
CDL-A Required Former Operations Manager experience Required Amazon experience Required What you'll own
- Handle day-to-day operations
- Work with one of the best dispatch teams
- Train new drivers
- Hire new drivers
- Teach best practices to drivers
- Yard operations: truck moves, gate registration, parking, trailer flow
- Fleet management
- Make sure the trucks are healthy
- Driver management: scheduling, pre-shift confirmations, HOS watch, coaching, skills tests and ride-alongs for new hires
- Safety & compliance: HOS briefings, ongoing safety training, catching UDT/HOS issues before they become violations
Escalations:
performance issues, service disputes, being the first call when something breaks at the yard- Comfortable making a trip in case of no-show Must have
- Prior experience at an Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) or Amazon
- you know Relay, HOS/UDT reconciliation, scorecards, and how Amazon dispatch actually works, not just trucking in general
- Prior experience as an Operations Manager (any freight/logistics operation) — you've run a team and owned a P&L-adjacent function, not just executed someone else's plan
- Comfortable being the only person on the ground making real-time calls Must Have
- CDL or hands-on trucking background
- Experience standing up a new operation from scratch (not just running an established one) What success looks like
- Zero missed loads due to scheduling gaps
- Clean HOS/compliance record

Pay:
$75,000.00- $85,000.
