Roll-Off Driver

The Materials Delivery Driver must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of delivering materials to And from job sites to include picking up, securing for transport, transporting, and dropping off, and to do so in a safe, efficient manner. The Materials Delivery Driver must also attend to and complete all paperwork and administrative requirements related to the job while maintaining a professional demeanor.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Possess a valid driver's license and must be insurable on company's insurance policy
• Has a minimum of two year's experience in commercial driving
• Possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Have a clean criminal record
• Have full range of mobility in upper and lower body
• Able to lift 50 pounds without assistance
• Able to interact with customers and company staff in a professional and courteous manner on a daily basis
• Is certified in CPR and First Aid, preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Able to pick up and load, secure for transport, transport safely, deliver, and unload all job materials
• Able to perform all daily preventative maintenance (PM) on company transport truck
• Ensures that job materials are delivered to job sites on schedule
• Ensures that all safety procedures are followed and reports any unsafe conditions to supervisors
• Ensures all workers' compensation insurance claims are properly documented and reported immediately
• Ensures all accidents are properly documented and reported immediately.
• Maintains a clean truck at all times
• Able to fill out and process all necessary paperwork, time sheets, travel logs, etc.
• Thoroughly understands and complies with company policies and standard operation procedures

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position must be able to perform physical demanding activities in extreme inclement outside weather conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works with mechanical objects. You will occasionally be exposed to fumes, airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in this work environment is occasionally loud.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

POSITION TYPE/HOURS

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with occasional weekend work. TRAVEL Travel is expected for this position.
