Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a Semi truck pulling a set bottom dump trailers, his / her role involves route driving and delivering goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Depending on the job, pay is per hour, a % of the load, or my the job. Duties Operate and drive different types of trucks, including manual transmission vehicles. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Navigate assigned routes for timely delivery of goods. Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. A minimum of 2 years driving experience in aggregate, sand & gravel hauling. Experience working in the construction industry hauling sand & gravel products. Familiarity with route driving practices and navigation tools. Ability to operate manual transmission or automatic vehicle. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
