Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight across various routes with energy and precision! In this vital role, you will operate tractor-trailers and specialized trucks, ensuring timely and safe deliveries while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route navigation, and cargo handling will keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers, flatbeds, tankers, refrigerated trailers, and other commercial vehicles across over-the-road (OTR) routes. Load, secure, unload, and inspect freight including hazardous materials, dangerous goods, and specialty cargo such as automobile transportation or freight requiring manual handling. Navigate routes using GPS navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing fuel efficiency and route planning. Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other applicable safety standards. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment like forklifts or manual techniques; handle logistics cargo with precision to prevent damage or safety hazards. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, inspection reports, and compliance records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly. Qualifications Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record; experience operating tractor-trailers or similar heavy-duty trucks required. Proven delivery driving experience with knowledge of route driving, freight handling, and truck loading/unloading procedures. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, roll-off trucks, dump trucks, or hazardous materials transportation is a plus. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently; experience with GPS navigation systems essential for route planning. Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hazardous materials regulations, DOT compliance standards, and safety protocols for dangerous goods handling. Strong manual handling skills for load & unload activities; forklift certification is advantageous but not mandatory. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service in delivery driving roles. Embark on a career that drives success!
