PAY RANGE
$30.00 - $34.00 Position Summary The CDL Driver/Building Material Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring safe, timely, and efficient delivery of building materials while providing outstanding customer service. This dependable employee is responsible for delivering materials to job sites, inspecting and maintaining delivery vehicles, and promptly reporting any shortages, damages, or claims to their supervisor. The role also includes assisting with the loading, unloading, and proper storage of materials to ensure smooth yard operations. When not actively making deliveries, the CDL Driver/Building Material Coordinator supports day-to-day yard activities, helping maintain organization and efficiency across operations. Work week:
Monday - Saturday Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities CDL driver's license - Required. Able to communicate professionally with customers and team members. Skilled at providing prompt, friendly and attentive customer service. Strong organizational skills with a passion for details. Willing to learn all areas of the facilities and help cross train others. Proven track record of being a team player. Knowledge and experience of various departments is strongly desired. A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance is required. Availability must be flexible including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Aptitude for industry technology and software. Physical Requirements The minimum physical requirements for this position include: Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to stand for an extended period of time, walk, reach, and bend to perform job duties. Ability to lift up to 97.5 pounds while moving in a repetitive motion, twisting, turning on uneven and sometimes slippery surfaces, carry awkward objects both alone and with others in the yard and on job sites. Ability to work on elevated platforms and ladders, and at heights near open spaces where the risk of falling may be present. Ability to repetitively climb on and off fork trucks, delivery trucks, and climb stairs at times while carrying awkward or heavy materials while using proper lifting techniques.
