Job Description
Clean Harbors is seeking a safety-focused Class A Driver to support our Transportation & Logistics operations. In this role, you will operate Class A equipment to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials between customer sites and Clean Harbors facilities while strictly following DOT and company safety protocols. Responsibilities include performing pre/post trip inspections, maintaining accurate manifests and logs, and ensuring regulatory compliance. You will work closely with dispatch and field teams, supporting environmental and industrial service projects that help protect communities. Responsibilities Safely operate Class A trucks to transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials Perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects Ensure full compliance with DOT, EPA, OSHA, and company safety policies Accurately complete logs, manifests, and regulatory documentation Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and service needs Assist field and facility teams during environmental and industrial service projects Properly secure loads and verify correct labeling and documentation of materials Use required PPE and participate in ongoing safety meetings and training Required Skills Commercial driving (CDL Class A) Tanker and hazmat handling Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance DOT compliance and logkeeping Load securement Route planning and navigation Hazardous materials handling and manifests Use of ELD and fleet management systems Knowledge of safety and PPE protocols Basic written and digital documentation
