Full Job Description The Position:
We are seeking a reliable, hard-working, and bilingual (English/Spanish) Form Truck Driver to join our crew. This position is responsible for hauling forms, materials, and small equipment between the yard and job sites using a pickup and trailer, and for working alongside our field crews once on site. This is not a driving-only role — this person will be expected to roll up their sleeves and work as labor throughout the day, helping with stripping, and supporting form setters and finishers to get the job done. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, comfortable on active job sites, and eager to learn the trade. This position offers strong growth potential for someone who wants to learn all facets of concrete paving and could progress into a finisher role fairly quickly.
Specific Duties:
Driving & Hauling Safely operate a pickup truck towing a trailer to transport forms, materials, and supplies between the yard and job sites. Load, secure, and unload forms and materials, ensuring proper tie-down and safe transport. Transport smaller equipment and machinery, such as skids, that fit on the trailer. Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and trailer. Coordinate delivery timing and priorities with the superintendent and foreman. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe trailer and load area. Job Site Labor Work as an active member of the crew while on site — this role is not limited to driving. Assist with stripping forms after concrete pours. Support form setters and finishers as needed to keep jobs moving and on schedule. Help load and unload materials, tools, and equipment on site. Perform general labor duties as assigned by the superintendent or foreman. Follow all job site safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Communication & Coordination Communicate effectively in both English and Spanish with crew members, foremen, and supervisors. Serve as a reliable link between the yard, superintendent, and job sites to ensure materials arrive where and when they are needed. Report any vehicle, trailer, or equipment issues promptly to management. Follow instructions and adjust to changing priorities and job site needs throughout the day. Growth & Development Take advantage of on-the-job opportunities to learn stripping, form setting, and finishing work. Show initiative to learn additional facets of the concrete paving process. Progress toward a finisher role or other advancement within the company, based on performance and interest.
The Ideal Candidate Has:
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required). A valid driver's license and clean driving record; CDL is not required. Experience towing and maneuvering a trailer is a plus, but not required. Willingness and understanding that this role is not driving-only — labor and job site work is a core part of the job. Comfort working on active construction job sites in all weather conditions. A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn. Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment as needed. Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to adapt to changing job site schedules. Interest in growing within the construction/concrete paving trade.
