Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Dump Truck Driver/Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy construction machinery, including dump trucks, excavators, loaders, and backhoes, to support excavation, grading, and utility work on various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure efficient material transport, site safety, and adherence to federal construction safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale projects while maintaining high standards of equipment safety and operational excellence. Duties Safely operate dump trucks, excavators, loaders, backhoes, and other heavy equipment to perform excavation, grading, and utility installation tasks. Transport construction materials and debris efficiently across job sites while adhering to traffic laws and safety procedures. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist with utility locating activities to identify underground utilities before excavation begins, ensuring site safety. Follow all federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures during daily operations. Support construction grading activities by operating heavy machinery with precision to meet project specifications. Collaborate with team members to execute construction site tasks efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record for commercial truck driving. Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and Caterpillar equipment. Mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance and troubleshooting of construction machinery. Construction site experience with familiarity in excavation, utility work, and grading operations. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and adherence to all safety protocols on-site. Ability to perform utility locating using specialized tools and techniques before excavation activities commence.
