Inc Canton, CT Job Details Full-time From $27 an hour 4 days ago Qualifications CDL B Safety regulations Dump truck Vehicle codes Loader operation Manual transmission Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Triaxle Dump Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a tri-axle dump truck to transport materials across multiple sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety standards. Duties Safely operate a triaxle dump truck to haul sand, gravel, stone and other construction materials across various sites. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring all equipment is in optimal working condition and compliant with safety regulations. Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities in accordance with federal safety regulations. Perform routine maintenance on the dump truck including greasing, washing, and cleaning of cab. Follow all safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation, construction site protocols, and equipment safety procedures to prevent accidents. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on construction or heavy equipment operation. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for operating a dump truck with manual 8LL transmission Experience with construction machinery such as loaders, excavators a plus Knowledge of federal safety regulations related to heavy truck operation. Class B CDL with manual transmission experience
