Job Description
CDL Class A Driver responsible for local and regional deliveries, including container pickups from NY Safely operate tractor-trailers (manual transmission and auto transmission) Load/unload freight (forklift experience a plus) Perform pre-trip inspections Plan routes and ensure on-time deliveries Deliver to job sites, warehouses & customers Maintain logs and paperwork Communicate with dispatch and customers Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver, preferably with route driving experience involving freight delivery Proficiency in operating manual transmission trucks and boom crane-equipped trucks Ability to load & unload cargo safely using forklifts or other equipment; forklift certification is a plus Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and transportation of hazardous or specialized materials Excellent navigation skills with the ability to plan efficient routes in diverse environments
