CDL Driver - Dump Truck / Asphalt & Paving Job Overview We are an asphalt and paving company seeking a reliable CDL Driver to support our paving operations. This role involves operating dump trucks and hauling asphalt, aggregate, and materials to and from job sites. You'll work closely with our paving crew in a fast-paced construction environment where safety, teamwork, and dependability are essential. Duties & Responsibilities Safely operate CDL dump trucks and company vehicles Haul asphalt, stone, millings, and construction materials Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Load, secure, and unload materials safely Maintain accurate driving logs and comply with DOT regulations Communicate with supervisors and crew members regarding job needs Assist on the job site as needed (spotting, light labor, cleanup) Keep trucks clean and report maintenance or safety issues promptly Requirements Valid CDL (Class A or B) Experience driving dump trucks or similar commercial vehicles preferred Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles Construction or paving experience preferred Strong understanding of safety procedures and DOT compliance Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented Willingness to work early mornings, long days, and variable hours based on workload and weather Must pass a pre-employment drug test and comply with DOT drug & alcohol testing requirements What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Steady seasonal work Team-focused work environment Opportunity to grow with an established paving company
