Responsibilities Safely operate various types of vehicles including box trucks and drivers to deliver products across designated routes. Load and unload cargo using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and secure placement of items. Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with all transportation regulations. Manage route driving efficiently, adhering to schedules while navigating traffic and road conditions proactively. Provide exceptional customer service by engaging professionally with clients during deliveries, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs, delivery receipts, and load/unload records. Assist with warehouse tasks when necessary, supporting inventory management and moving goods within storage areas. Assist with loadin/unloading the truck. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier with a strong background in route driving and heavy lifting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks and manual transmission vehicles preferred. Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other loading tools; certification is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Physical ability to lift heavy loads repeatedly and perform manual tasks related to moving goods safely. Prior experience in commercial driving or courier services is highly desirable. Knowledge of safety regulations related to driving, loading/unloading cargo, and warehouse operations.
