In this role, you will operate a variety of heavy equipment including and commercial vehicles to support construction projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and precise execution of site activities. Your expertise in operating machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and tankers will be essential to maintaining productivity and safety on diverse construction sites. Responsibilities Safely operate heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, and horizontal drilling machinery across multiple construction sites. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Assist with site preparation activities such as grading, excavation, paving, and water management to support project timelines. Collaborate with project managers and crew members to execute construction tasks efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Transport materials, equipment, and personnel between job sites using CDL A licensed vehicles with precision and care. Follow all safety guidelines related to heavy equipment operation and commercial driving regulations to prevent accidents or injuries. Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities for accountability and compliance purposes. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators (including horizontal drilling), dozers (Caterpillar preferred), loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, tankers, and paving equipment. Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record for commercial vehicle operation. Mechanical knowledge sufficient to perform routine maintenance checks and troubleshoot minor issues on heavy equipment. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety standards and operational procedures in diverse environments. Knowledge of construction materials handling and site logistics coordination. Ability to work effectively in physically demanding conditions while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards.
