The Driver will play a vital role in ensuring safe, timely, and comfortable transportation for our clients. This position offers a flexible schedule within a structured workday, supporting a team of experienced drivers committed to providing excellent service. Duties Operate handicap-accessible vans to transport clients safely and efficiently on approximately three to four local trips per day. Adhere to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times, maintaining punctuality throughout the workday. Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transit, following all traffic laws and safety protocols. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly. Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and other required documentation. Collaborate with dispatch and team members to coordinate daily routes and schedules. Uphold professionalism and courteous customer service at all times. Experience Valid Connecticut Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Prior experience driving handicap or accessible vehicles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary. Proven track record of safe driving with a clean driving record. Ability to work flexible hours within the 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM schedule, five days a week. Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor are essential for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
Pay:
$22.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 30.0 per week
