Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various types of truck driving, including experience with manual transmission, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to designated locations while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company policies. Duties Operate and drive various types of trucks including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks. Load and unload freight efficiently and safely. Plan routes and ensure timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or any issues encountered during delivery. Utilize forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading cargo. Skills Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles. Experience with refrigerated trailers and flatbed trucks is highly desirable. Knowledge of tanker operations is a plus. Strong commercial driving skills with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Previous delivery driver experience is preferred. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Familiarity with freight handling procedures including loading and unloading techniques. Excellent route driving skills with the ability to navigate effectively using maps or GPS systems.
