About the Role As a key member of our Roadways Department, you'll perform a variety of essential tasks that directly benefit our community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating our trucks for snow plowing and hauling debris.
- Performing seasonal roadside and drainage maintenance.
- Assisting with the construction and repair of town roads.

- Contributing to vehicle maintenance.

- A 401(a) retirement plan with a 6.5% employee contribution and a 9% employer contribution after six months of employment. Qualifications To join our team, you'll need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least two years of truck driving experience , preferably with heavy equipment.
- Experience in vehicle and road maintenance is a plus.
- A valid Connecticut Commercial Driver's License (CDL) .
- A clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- The ability to pass a Department of Transportation physical and drug screen.
