TA Dedicated is hiring professional CDL-A truck drivers to join our dedicated division for local port and container work. Drivers will haul 40-foot containers, primarily loaded with bananas from the Port of Wilmington to our local yard or to the Chiquita distribution center. This is a home daily CDL-A position operating primarily within a 15-mile radius of the port, with drivers shuttling loads between the port, yard, and distribution center. This dedicated lane offers no touch freight and consistent local work, with start times typically between 5:00 AM and 7:00 AM. No previous port or container experience is necessary—we'll provide the support and instruction needed to get you familiar with the account and port operations. Prior tractor-trailer driving experience is required.

CDL-A Truck Drivers Enjoy:

Home daily $26 per hour with annual pay increases $1,500 guaranteed weekly pay for the first 30 days $1,600

CDL-A Truck Driver Requirements:

TWIC card required Valid Class A CDL (CDL-A) Minimum 21 years of age Minimum 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience Previous container or tanker experience Must meet all DOT qualification requirements Must successfully pass a comprehensive drug test Satisfactory driving record, safety history, and employment history Ability to safely operate a tractor-trailer in port, yard and local delivery environments TA Dedicated is a fair chance and equal opportunity employer.
