TransForce Inc. is hiring a Local CDL A Driver to support safe, reliable freight movement for regional customers. In this role, you'll complete local pick ups and deliveries, perform thorough equipment inspections, and follow DOT and FMCSA regulations. You'll communicate closely with dispatch, maintain accurate logs, and ensure freight is loaded, secured, and delivered on time. Responsibilities Safely operate local CDL A commercial vehicles for pickups and deliveries within assigned region Perform pre trip and post trip inspections and maintain accurate driver logs and paperwork Comply with DOT, FMCSA, and company safety policies and hours of service regulations Secure, load, and unload freight while protecting product quality and customer property Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding routes and schedules Report equipment issues promptly and coordinate with maintenance for timely repairs Follow designated routes, schedules, and delivery windows to ensure on time service Support Trans Force Inc.'s commitment to safety, professionalism, and outstanding client service Required Skills CDL A truck driving Local and regional route navigation DOT and FMCSA compliance Electronic logging devices (ELD) Vehicle inspection and basic maintenance Freight loading and securing Time management and scheduling Customer and dispatch communication Safety procedures and incident reporting Trip planning and fuel management
