Overview Join our dynamic team as a Dump Truck Driver and take charge of transporting materials efficiently and safely across various job sites. This energetic role offers the opportunity to operate a range of trucks, including dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and tractor-trailers, ensuring timely delivery and load management. Your expertise in commercial driving will be vital in supporting construction, waste management, or material supply operations. Duties Operate dump trucks, roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, and other commercial vehicles with manual transmission for various hauling tasks Load and unload freight, materials, or debris safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary Drive route-specific schedules to deliver materials efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations Manage different types of trailers including refrigerated, flatbed, tanker, and specialized freight containers Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and report any maintenance needs promptly Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, pickups, mileage, and fuel consumption for compliance and reporting purposes Assist with site-specific tasks such as securing loads, ensuring proper weight distribution, and following safety protocols during loading/unloading processes Experience Proven experience operating dump trucks or similar heavy-duty vehicles in a commercial setting Familiarity with various trailer types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and roll-off containers Strong knowledge of route driving practices and safety standards for freight transportation Ability to operate manual transmission trucks confidently and efficiently Experience with load & unload procedures using forklifts or other lifting equipment preferred Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with relevant endorsements for heavy vehicle operation Prior delivery driver experience involving freight handling and route management is highly desirable Embark on a career where your driving skills make a tangible impact!
