Part-Time Litter Removal Crew Organization:
Keep Brevard Beautiful (KBB)
Location:
Canaveral Port Authority, Brevard County, FL About Us:
Keep Brevard Beautiful (KBB) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the beauty and health of Brevard County through litter prevention, recycling, and community cleanups. We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team and help maintain the cleanliness of the Canaveral Port Authority grounds, parking lots and roadsides.
Position Overview:
We are hiring part-time crew members to assist with litter and debris removal. This position is hands-on, outdoors, and requires a dependable and safety-conscious individual. Applicants must be reliable and have a valid driver's license with an exceptional driving record. You must be able to pass a drug test, lift 50 pounds, pull a trailer behind a truck, and be willing to work in various weather conditions.
Schedule & Hours:
  • Part-time, approximately 15-24 hours per week
  • 2-3 days per week (Friday-Monday)
  • Start time: 7:30am
Responsibilities:
  • Remove litter and debris from parking lots, roadsides, and designated areas at the Canaveral Port Authority
  • Safely operate and maintain equipment, including trucks and trailers
  • Load, lift, and transport debris (up to 50 lbs)
  • Follow safety procedures and report any hazards or maintenance issues
  • Work effectively in all weather conditions
Requirements:
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Valid driver's license with an exceptional driving record
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Experience pulling a trailer and operating utility vehicles (preferred)
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Compensation:
  • Part-time hourly position
