Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dependable Crew Leader/Driver to join our team! In this energetic role, you will lead a small crew while managing delivery routes and ensuring timely, safe, and efficient transportation of goods. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a crew during daily operations, providing guidance and support to ensure productivity and safety. Safely operate box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles for delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Load, unload, and organize cargo using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks. Deliver goods directly to customers' locations while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service standards. Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries using mobile devices, including route logs, delivery confirmations, and incident reports. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to identify maintenance needs or safety issues. Follow safe lifting practices during manual handling tasks involving heavy or bulky items, minimizing injury risk. Skills Proven experience in warehouse operations, delivery driving, or courier services with a focus on safe manual handling. Strong commercial driving skills with experience operating box trucks, vans, or personal vehicles for delivery purposes. Knowledge of route planning and driving routes efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations. Ability to load & unload cargo safely using manual techniques or material handling equipment like pallet jacks. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor during interactions with clients. Familiarity with mobile devices for route navigation, documentation, and communication purposes.
