As a CDL A Driver, you will be the vital link connecting our company with customers, providing exceptional service while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. If you thrive on active driving, manual handling, and logistics cargo management, this position is your gateway to a rewarding career in commercial trucking! Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers on over-the-road (OTR) routes, ensuring compliance with FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Transport freight using refrigerated trailers, or specialized equipment for hazardous materials (Hazmat) when qualified. Utilize GPS navigation systems to follow optimized routes and ensure timely deliveries across multiple locations. Load and unload cargo efficiently, managing logistics cargo handling with precision and care. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to maintain safety standards and vehicle performance. Load & unload freight manually or with equipment, ensuring proper securing of dangerous goods or hazardous materials as per hazardous materials regulations. Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and compliance records while communicating effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates or delivery status. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving with a focus on route driving and delivery driving. Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, and hazardous materials regulations for safe transportation of dangerous goods. Skilled in operating manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailers with manual handling expertise. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed hauling, tanker operations, and automobile transportation is highly desirable. Proficient in GPS navigation tools for efficient route planning on OTR driving routes. Ability to load & unload freight safely while adhering to truck loading and unloading procedures. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience in truck loading/unloading and logistics cargo handling is preferred.
