Overview Join our dynamic team as a Sprinter Van Driver and become a vital part of our logistics and delivery operations! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, managing timely deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service. Your expertise in driving box trucks and handling freight will ensure our customers receive their orders promptly and in perfect condition. Responsibilities Safely operate a sprinter van or box truck to deliver goods to various locations according to scheduled routes Load and unload cargo using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or forklifts when necessary, adhering to safe lifting practices Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and weight handling standards during all phases of transportation Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times while maintaining safety and adherence to traffic laws Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, obtaining signatures, and addressing any delivery concerns professionally Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to identify maintenance needs or safety issues Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, load/unload activities, and route logs for accountability Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with warehouse experience or commercial driving background Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; CDL (Commercial Driver's License) is a plus but not mandatory Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and heavy lifting techniques Knowledge of DOT regulations, safety standards, and weight handling in the workplace Experience operating box trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment is advantageous Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally Ability to move heavy loads safely while following proper lifting practices Physical stamina to handle manual handling tasks and long hours on the road Embark on a rewarding career where your driving skills make a real impact!
