Job Description

compensation: $700
  • $800/week depending on experience and route employment type: Full time We are a company that contracts with FedEx Ground to provide outstanding delivery service to the North Lakeland, FL areas
  • based out of the Davenport, FL terminal.
We are now accepting applications for full-time drivers. We are a 7 day a week operation. Successful applicants applying will have an open availability schedule and can anticipate working weekends. Our trucks typically dispatch around 9:00 am. Hours vary depending on delivery stops and location. This is a physical job and requires that the employee get in and out of the truck upwards of 120 times in a shift. To qualify, successful applicants MUST meet ALL of the following criteria (NO
EXCEPTIONS
):
  • Have 12 months of commercial driving experience within the last 3 years in a cargo van or larger. Driving experience must be verifiable.
  • Have a clean driving record (no more than two tickets within the last 3 years and no speeding tickets over 15 miles over speed limit).
  • No felony convictions or violent misdemeanors
  • Pass a drug test
  • Pass a background check
  • Pass a professional driving test
  • Be 21 years of age or older
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Ability to move quickly and lift up to 100 lbs
  • Have dependable transportation to Davenport, Fl
  • Understand during Peak (Thanksgiving through Christmas) driver will work 6 days per week The ability to locate rural addresses using GPS, cell phone and/or maps is a must and a good general knowledge of our service area (Lakeland) and some surrounding areas.
Must be able to learn and adhere to FedEx Ground Delivery procedures with high expectations for SAFETY, ACCURACY, SERVICE and
ATTENDANCE.
Route Experience is preferred but not necessary. Paid Holidays upon hire and Vacation after 1 year
