Job Description

Sunny Sky Products prides itself on our commitment and dedication to creating, manufacturing and delivering top quality products in the beverage industry. We have generated an extensive product portfolio that includes frozen dispensed beverages, cold dispensed, hot dispensed and beverage enhancers. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across various locations, maintaining vehicle integrity, and ensuring compliance with all traffic and safety regulations as well as all company policies.
Responsibilities:
Lift up to 30lbs. Safely operate a semi-tractor and trailer unit. Transport goods and materials to designated locations safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and cargo. Plan routes using GPS or maps to optimize delivery schedules. Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details. Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws. Safely fuel the semi-truck unit and maintain/report any expenses for the vehicle. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers. Report any incidents, mechanical issues, or delays promptly. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Maintain the cleanliness of the truck on the inside and out. Maintain driver on & off duty logs as required. Be able to secure any cargo. Other duties that may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or company management any time.
Requirements:
Must posses a valid Class A CDL drivers license. Must be experienced in transporting van trailers, reefer trailers, and tankers. Must have at least 3 years of driving experience. Experience with food grade products. Must be able to operate a computer, scanner, and gps equipment. Must be able to operate an industrial truck and/or pallet jack. Must be able to get on & off tractor and/or lift truck and walk as needed. Hours Monday - Friday, 7AM-5PM. 8-hour shift plus occasional overtime. Salary $27 /hr.
