Family-owned and operated since 1985, Florida Green Keepers is a trusted name in landscape, irrigation, hardscape, and maintenance services throughout the region. We're looking for a reliable, safety-conscious CDL Truck Driver to keep our projects moving — safely operating a Mack truck and flatbed trailer to haul equipment and materials to job sites across North Central Florida. This position reports to a satellite location. The anticipated start date is September 21, or before. Responsibilities Driving & Equipment Transport
  • Safely operate a manual-transmission Mack truck with a step-deck trailer with equipment ramps; may also operate an F-550 (or equivalent) with a goose-neck trailer
  • Haul equipment such as skid steers, tractors, small excavators, and other landscaping machinery
  • Transport materials like sod, plants, trees, concrete blocks, and pavers
  • Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials Safety & Compliance
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles
  • Comply with all DOT regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate driving logs and records Qualifications Required
  • Valid CDL driver's license (Class A)
  • Proven experience driving large commercial vehicles, including flat-bed trailers
  • Strong safety record
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment
  • Physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness and physical ability to work in dusty, hot outdoor environments
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Reliable transportation to/from satellite location (north of LaCrosse, FL) Benefits
