Truck Driver (CDL-A Flatbed) Position Summary We are seeking a dependable, safety-focused CDL-A Truck Driver to join our family-owned transportation company. This position serves a dedicated customer hauling LTL building materials using a flatbed tractor-trailer. Drivers are home daily and work primarily Monday through Friday. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated, self-starting professional who takes pride in safe operations and exceptional service. Schedule Monday through Friday Home daily Typical workdays range from 10 to 14 hours Dedicated customer routes Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate a CDL-A tractor-trailer with flatbed equipment. Transport LTL building materials to customer locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Secure and protect loads in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate logs and transportation documentation. Deliver excellent customer service while representing the company professionally. Follow all federal, state, and local transportation laws and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding deliveries and operational needs. Qualifications Required Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) . Minimum age of 25 years . Recent, verifiable tractor-trailer flatbed experience . Ability to operate a manual transmission (no automatic restriction). Strong work ethic and self-motivation. Ability to work long days when required. Driving Record Requirements Applicants must have: No chargeable accidents. No DUI convictions. No SAP (Substance Abuse Professional) program history. No felony convictions. No serious traffic violations or tickets. Compensation and Benefits Percentage-based pay. Paid weekly via direct deposit. Paid vacation. Paid holidays. Pay increases every six months based on performance and tenure. Stable, year-round work with a dedicated customer.
